AGRA BEST COLLEGE OF BCOM

Admission was based on class 12 percentage. There was no entrance test as such through was a counseling session but the question asked in it were general questions, some of them were tricky. Every student has to avail of the session and give the respective fees. The application form is available online and at the university. There 5%-10% reservation in it for SC and ST. There are no improvements required

I choose the course " Bachelor of Commerce" (BCOM) . The ratio is somewhere around 1:30. Are the teachers have BCOM degree while some has done BCOM (H) as well. Some Teachers have given CTET as well. The teaching method is quite good, all the teachers are ready to explain things 2 -3 times, nearly all of them are having calm and kind nature. There were two semesters, It is not difficult in the first year to pass but after first it's becoming difficult. A student should have in-depth knowledge to score good marks

The name of companies are - 1. ''Adam Ventures LLP" role offered - assistant trainee, stipend - 2000 per month 2." Outpace Consulting Service" role offered - Assitant HR Executive, stipend - 1500 per month 3. "Genpact role offered" - Cash Recipient, stipend - 1200 per month These were the only firms that offered internship opportunities to students Outcomes - These internships help us a lot to get practical knowledge. The students who were interning themselves, again and again, got some pre-placement offers

The fees for the first year were around 15K per year. It increases to 20k in next year and remains the same for next three years. There was a scholarship scheme for the poor but many fewer people were able to avail it. There was a 50% scholarship program for students scoring 99 percent or more in class 12 examinations. Students who do top in a course were also given benefit by giving discounts. There was no placement on Day Zero of course. Some internship opportunities were given to a student with stipend of rupees 3000

There is an annual fest held at ST JOHN COLLEGE AGRA. It's named and themed differently every year for this year its name was "EDUCATION HUB" and themed "EDUCATION AND WORLD" many students took participate in it. IT is was held for 3 days. It happens generally in August. There is a big library in college with 2000 volumes of books. Books are available of various writers and to rent and issue for a week. There are general facilities given in the classroom like a wooden bench with a desk with a seating capacity of two, chairs, proper blackboard. The classes are non-A/C and have windows for ventilation. There is a properly working water tab for all. There are 4 fans in each classroom. There are some sports activities like cricket and badminton. There is an Interhouse competition of cricket for boys and an Interhouse competition of badminton for girls. There are four clubs 1. Health club 2. Placement assistance club 3. Dance club 4. Music club
