Course Eligibility is Intermediate passed with physics chemistry and math and a minimum of 50% marks obtained. Application form available on jmi portal and every year in the month of July admission process begins. The application fee is 700 Rs. Reservations are given to OBC, ST, SC, Jamia internal and women. At the time of admission, the process is very slow, sometimes admission didn't complete by the given deadline. The administration should fix that issue.
Course Curriculum Overview
I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees have remained constant for many years and the fees hike is per UGC guidelines or there is no fees hike policy. Many Jamian Scholarships and central government scholarships are available here Some of them 1. Azmi scholarship, 2. JTA scholarship, 3, women Scholarship, and 4. NSP plus many more. I applied for the Azmi scholarship, they interviewed me and after one month I received 8000rs.
Campus Life
Miraas and Jazba are very famous annual fest in Jamia. students organized Fresher parties also. University Campus has a very beautiful Library (Dr Zakir Hussain Library) which provide all types of the book easily. All classrooms have a projector with a whiteboard. Rooms are big enough to contain 100 students. Ther is big ground beside the faculty of Natural Science. Many sports and tournaments are organized here. Jamia is a multicultural university, you find all types of people and many Social groups. I belong to the Jamian Geek society. this group is also on Instagram id maths_geeks_jmi.
