Remarks
Admission process for enrolling into the PGDM programme of IMS is pretty seamless. The candidate has to pass the cut off criteria set by the college for the management exams. The application form is available online and offline as well. Details about reservation and scholarship benefits are clearly mentioned on the college website. I am happy with the way admission process takes place at IMS.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because unlike MBA, this course focuses on practical learning. We have ample faculties to provide knowledge to the students in the college. All the faculties at IMS Ghaziabad hold PhD in their domain area. The faculties focus on active learning and discuss various caselets in the class during the teaching hours.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is provided by the college to every student. We also got the opportunity of a stipend based internship. The roles offered for internship are basically marketing research analyst, Data analyst etc. I did my internship at Bridge group solutions.
Placement Experience
The students get the opportunity of campus placement from the 4th semester. Top MNC's like Deloitte, ITC, Dabur, ICICI visit the campus every year and offer placements. The highest package offered is 20 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 8 lakhs. 100% of students got placed. I also got placement offers from ICES Securities and Byju's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has set a fee of Rs. 800000 for two years course and it is very nominal as compared to other colleges. Meritorious students get scholarship opportunities from the college. You can also get loan opportunities from the college.
Campus Life
The annual fest 'Melange' takes place in the month of November and various colleges from Delhi NCR participated in it. we have ample numbers of books in our college library. we also have lab-based teaching for practical subjects.
Interview Experience
We were given general topics for GD. The interview process was conducted by the faculties of the college and we were also supposed to appear for the written aptitude test. The process of selection is quite simple as we are supposed to get through the GD, PI and written aptitude test rounds for the process of selection. Started preparing a month back to prepare for these rounds.
