College faculty and learning environment is good. Ranked amongst Top 75 Engineering Colleges of INDIA and 7th in STATE by outlook-MDRA Ranking Survey. Only drawback is the lack of exposure. Not many companies come for placement. Hardly 2-3 companies (TCS, HCl are main) visit the college and select around 80-100 students amongst all the branches.

I wrote CET. Primary reason for opting this college was that I hadI heard its EnC course is reputed. Secondary reason was it was near to my hometown.

3rd year of the course will be quite difficult as compared to the rest. C++ and Satellite communication were electives in 6th sem. I chose C++ as I was inclined towards programming. It helped me during campus recruitment as well. I would recommend you select the same if you are looking to get a job in IT firm.

No, College doesn't provide internship. Few interested students from our batch were successful in getting internship at some start ups in banglore during their vacation. The college will neither inform nor help in getting internships. I was completely unaware about internships when I was student.

Placement and Job oppurtunities are not great but compared to other colleges in that locality I should say it is doing pretty well but since the college is situated in the interior parts I mean far from IT-BT sectors, the exposure is less. If you are lucky enough and qyt hard working then you can manage to be one among 100-120 people who get selected through campus recruitment every year.

Every Year College Fest will be conducted for 3 days. Auditions for singing, dancing and other activities will be held. The students can volunteer for any events. First day will be celebrated as ethnic day. In the evening cultural activities will be held. On the 3rd day chief guest (usually celbrity) will arrive. The event ends with a coda.

Notifications will be sent to students who are eligible for scholarships (based on caste and income)

Gender ratio will be equal. Big ground is there. Students can get amenities from the sports room and play whenever free. Many competitions such as ccricket, football, Mehendi, Rangoli, singing, dancing will be held and prizes will be distributed on Cultural Day. Debates and Essay competitions were not so popular however few workshops on Robotics were conducted. For 6th/7th sem students special workshops will be conducted to prepare students for campus recruitment.

I was not staying at hostel so do not have much idea about it. However I have heard from my friends that hostel infrastructure is neat and good. The food offered will be OK The rooms will be on sharing basis, generally 3- sharing.

2 labs will be there every week which seems to be manageable. The day will be hectic when when u have to attend the classes from 8 AM to 12.30PM and again attend lab from 2.30 to 5.30. Also 2 internals will be conducted in a day with a gap of 4 hours which might make you feel exhausted.

Through CET counselling. Karnataka Education Board conducts state level PU examination. After that a common entrance examination will be conducted. Your PCM(physics+chemistry+mathematics) marks in PU exam and PCM marks obtained in CET exam will be clubbed and a ranking will be announced. Depending upon your ranking u'll be allowed to choose the colleges and the suitable one will be allotted to you.

The faculty of Electronics and Communication is good. For some of the subjects faculty need to be improved. Principal Kunte sir has good knowledge about Micro Controllers. Kamalamma Mam is awesome at teaching 'Antenna Theory'. The faculty are quite lenient as well in terms of addressing your doubts and help you pick up the topics wherever you are lacking.
