An Exhaustive Review Covering Many Aspects

I got admission through Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2019. Only those applicants were eligible who had given the Joint Entrance Examination(Mains). Further, there was a range of ranks as well and if our rank falls in that range, we got that particular branch. I filled my choices for the college through josaa.nic.in. There were many rounds (around 7) and special rounds as well. I didn't avail any reservation benefits as I was of General category and was of Other State. After getting the college, I went to the college and reported there and submitted the required documents. The whole process was seamless.

I chose the course as I had been passionate about technology and computers since my childhood. I study six subjects every semester, so, according to that the faculty: student ratio is okay. The faculty is very qualified. In offline mode, the faculty taught using smart boards and presentations. In offline mode, there were two minor examinations scheduled after around 1 month of start of the semester. There was a gap of around 1 month between those examinations. Each of them carried 20 marks. Thereafter, we had the End Semester Examinations each carrying 50 marks. All the exams were of easy to moderate level and it was not difficult to pass.

Usually, the role offered for an internship is of Software Development Engineer (SDE) intern. Some comapnies with their stipends are: Microsoft- Rs. 80,000 per month American Express- Rs. 50,000 per month

Usually from 3rd Semester onwards, students become eligible for on-campus internship opportunities. And from 4th Year, students become eligible for on-campus placements. Various companies visited the campus for internship and placements like: Microsoft, American Express, Samsung, Codenation, etc. Usually, the profile offered is for Software Development Engineer. As per my knowledge, the highest package offered is by Microsoft with a CTC of around 43.5 lakhs. Upto my knowledge, the average package offered is around 13-14 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80%.

The fees remains more or less the same every semester. The semester fee was around Rs. 78750. The hostel fee was around Rs. 25000 and the mess fee was about Rs. 25000 per semester. I got an internship in my 5th semester with stipend around 50K per month for two months,

There are two tech fests: TechNITI and Utkansh. They are conducted every year usually in the months of November and March. The books prescribed by the course teachers were easily available in the library. The classrooms are really spacious. Also, they are equipped with smart boards, air conditioners, etc. There is also cleanliness everywhere. There are many sports activities on the campus like Football, Volleyball, Badminton, etc. There are various clubs run by students like Developer Students Club, Literary and Debating Club, Dance Clubs like SI and Criminalz, etc,

There were study tables and beds provided to us in the room. Also, almirahs were provided for keeping our belongings. The meal quality was good and the menu had also various types of items as decided by the Mess Secretary. Also, there was a toaster available for bread. Warm water was also available easily. The mess is clean. Also, there are usually various alternatives for breakfast like Bread/Jam, Bananas, etc. For the hostel registration process, first, we have to deposit the required hostel fees, and then we could choose among the available rooms. I didn't rent a room or PG. I opted for the on-campus hostels.
