Remarks
The admission to nits and iits are taken from the national level exam that is Jee. One has to crack the jee mains exam to get admission to the nit and other it. The admission process was simple and onw have to bring all the certificate like 10 , 12 th migration and category certificates is any and pay the fees during the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers here are supported and highly educated. Most of them have a Ph.D. The curriculum of nit are years old that is a bit setback but it doesn't mean that its not relevant. The exams are a bit tough but the question is mostly from the syllabus so just go through that.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies recruit students in their 3 rs year for internships. The role offered ate mostly software. The core campanies are a bit less and don't offer good stipend. Companies like textile instruments, Accenture, Goldman sachs, standard chartered are some of the companies to hire interns
Placement Experience
The placement here is nice as it's a national-level college. The percentage placement here is about 80% and most of the students get packages around 8lpa. The highest is the 40lpa and lowest is about 4lpa...many companies come to our college for campus placement and for an internship like standard chartered, Accenture, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Deloitte and Wipro are the mass recruiters. Accenture and standard are the most common companies for internship and placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure varies for general students and category students sc and st students dont have to pay tuition fees.
Campus Life
The campus life here is very nice.You will meet people from all across the states and will learn about their culture. The fest are organized twice a year. The campus is surrounded by police camp and an army cant area. The campus also has a gym , and various indoor and outdoor activities center for one to refresh and enjoy
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided to us are well and good. The infrastructure is nice and well built. The campus itself has all the facilities like canteen, cafe, food restaurant namely snackers and other daily use shops. Hostels are well equipped with proper furniture like table and chairs and rooms are okay. The food quality is good. Mess food is enough for one. We also have a library where one can sit and study. The classrooms are all air-conditioned.
