Remarks
The admission process in DU is a kind of blend. Common courses like Bcom, BA, English, B.Sc., and more have merit-based admission systems i.e. students take admission on the basis of their 12th results. Whereas a few courses like B.ed. and BMS has entrance based admission system. One thing that I hate and would love to change is the Reservation System.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Professors have adapted to the online mode gracefully. Be it online classes to taking online practicals, the work has been done nicely. I chose this course because I have a keen interest in finance and banking.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided on Instagram and WhatsApp by "Saksham: placement and e-cell" on a regular basis. Also, There is a website by saksham where all the details of internships are present. There are paid as well as unpaid internships provided by the society.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of this college is highly active. There are events going on every now and then. Students are placed in highly reputed companies like Deloitte, Bajaj Capitals, and Egiyok. In 2021, the students were placed at the highest of 18 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are very less as compared to the facilities it provides and also, it's less compared to other colleges. The fee of Bcom Hons here is around Rs 7500 per annum for the General category, which is quite low I guess because of the academics and co-curriculum activities provided by the institute.
Campus Life
The crowd in this college is quite diversified. There are students from different communities and states, even countries. Students are also provided access to an online library that consists of more than 1000 books.
Other Applied Colleges
Indraprastha University | Bcom Hons
Because DU is a more reputed organization with better placements and more diverse crowd.
