Eligibility-Jee main Reservation-For obc, sc, st, pwd A candidate needs to clear jee the main b. tech or b. arch exam for getting admission to the college and participating in Jose Or cab counseling. Cut off remains high for top branches like CSE, it and etc. I our branch(IT) placements are good and seniors are very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 8 sems for BTech and 10 sems for b arch. Professors are highly qualified and very helpful. Regular assignments, quizzes help us to revise the topics. Information technology is one of the best branches in our college with the highest percentage of placement. One got an offer from Atlassian and many of our seniors got full-time offers from wells Fargo, Uber, Microsoft, Google, media. net, Deutsche bank and many more.
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are there. Microsoft comes on campus and took 15 from it and 9 from cse. Other companies include google and there is cern internships also. Further, there are research opportunities too. Cse students are also interested in research areas so they also go abroad for higher studies. One student last year got into Harvard University.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite good with Microsoft, Atlassion, Wells Fargo, Media. Net, Samsung, Uber coming on campus. Top branches get very good placement with an average of 16 to 17 LPA in cse and it.The highest goes around 50 LPA either from cse or it. Highest placement percentage from it department. Further, there are internship opportunities from Microsoft and Google. From our department(IT) around 15 got into Microsoft internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is like other nits as it is under the council of nits. There is fee remission for ews and also general whose income is less than 5 lakh per annum. St, sc candidates also has full waiver on tuition fees.
Campus Life
Rebecca is the college fest conducted every year. Plus there are many other college fests throughout the year. Clubs include codeiiest for coding. There are music, drama, sports photography, robotics, and many other clubs. We have Ramanujan Library (one of the oldest and largest in Southeast Asia) with huge number of books, journals. There are two huge grounds-oval and lords though not like the actual ones.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite old with 4 or 2 students per room in first year. From 3 rd year hostels are quite good. Every one is provided with a table, chair, one almirah and a bed. Food is quite good in almost all the hostels with fish, rice, pulses sometimes ice cream.For hostel we need to apply well before because there is limited seats
