Summer Internship

The admission procedure was online and went on very smoothly over zoom calls. Eligibility is on the basis of CAT score and various other criteria like academic performance throughout the academic career. For students with reservations, the cut-off is relatively less. The college can improve on its refund. policies in case any students want to withdraw at the time of admission refund should be made immediately so that they can use the money to apply in another college if they prefer.

This curriculum has all the courses that will help one to get a head start in the corporate world. The faculty and students ratio is fairly fine and they are always available to help. All the faculties have got their PhDs and research work done from the top B-schools of India. They follow the model of Harvard Business School where knowledge is transferred through healthy and informative class participation. Term exams are very well structured, preplanned, and always on time. Papers are standard and challenging.

Dalmia Bharat, V-guard, KPMG, Bosch, etc are a few of the Top recruiters offering summer internships with the highest stipend of 2 lakh and an average spend of 60,000. Roles offered are in the domain of sales and marketing, HR, finance, product management, and operations. Projects are of the duration of two months that are given by the companies. I am not yet done with my summer internship.

Placements are pretty decent for our college considering the fact that it's a new IIM. Students are eligible to sit for placements from term four after they are done with their summer internships. Some of the top recruiters are- Deloitte, Amazon, KPMG, ICICI Lombard, HCL, Amul, etc. With the highest package of 23 LPA and a median salary of 12 LPA. More than 100 companies participated in the placement with 73 new recruiters. The college has achieved a 100% placement every year. After my graduation, I would like to go with a job from my campus placement.

Considering the fact that it is relatively one of the newer IIMs a lot of infrastructure and resources are yet to be developed and possibly that is the reason for a slight increase in the course fee. But students with financial problems are provided with a waiver of up to 50-90% if they have genuine problems from the college itself. There are various other government schemes and policies that the students are eligible to apply through National Scholarship Portail and the college keeps updating these opportunities to the students from time to time. Campus placements are good with a good stipend for summer placements.

Due to Covid, the entire batch of students isn't yet called to the campus. The permanent campus is still under construction but we are hoping to move in the next semester. Other than that all the fest and clubs function competitively conducting leadership talks for business exposures on weekly basis. There are three major annual fests- Vriddhi is the flagship event for business, Sabaram is the cultural fest and Colloquium is the panel discussion with business leaders. There are a total of twenty clubs and committees comprising of business clusters, cultural, sports, and the student association council body. All the clubs have their own social media handles that are updated with new information by the junior and senior club members regularly. Due to covid situation, all our books and study materials were mailed to us by the college at the beginning of each term and we have access to e-libraries with a good collection of data. Physical classrooms are very standard and well equipped.
