Remarks
It was a smooth process. 1st document verification at the institute itself, then a GD session consisting of 10 candidates and 2 panelists and then an interview round consisting of the same panelists as Gd. Eligibilty- Variety of parameters like CAT/XAT scores and prev grad, 10th, 12th scores and work-ex criterias. It was a learning experience
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a variety of faculty with years of experience and good knowledge. The programmes demanding approach provides candidates with the required hard and soft skills to succeed in leadership posts. There are a variety of streams from a variety of functional domains, and students can choose.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies visit the campus, approximately more than 200 or so. All sorts of roles are offered by big brands and even a few small companies and startups. The opportunities provided are great and the stipends and CTC are also very well rewarding. Academic mentors are also provided during summer internships to guide the students
Placement Experience
Placements are provided in 1st year ie summer placement for 2 months where you also stand a chance to et a pre-placement offer from a few companies. Final placements begin in term 4 in the second year. The process is smooth and a lot of brands visit the campus. Highest CTC for the 2022 batch was approx 62 Lakhs whereas avg was 15 lakhs. 517 students were placed in barely 17 days.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is hiked every year. There was a relief to the covid batch though from the hike. A variety of scholarships are offered including 100 perc academic fee waiver to EWS students, scholarships for gold and silver medalists from the batch, Academic scholarships etc.
Campus Life
Campus life at IMT is really good. The campus is well equipped with all possible facilities including gym, mess, all sorts of indoor and outdoor sports, Amphitheater of recreation, library, Bloomberg terminal, Nescafe, double and single sharing rooms, and even a separate hostel block for women students. Classrooms are very well equipped with all sorts of facilities
Hostel Facilities
A bed, set of table chair & almirah is provided in the room. The mess provides 4 meals a day, good quality and healthy food. Air conditioning is provided everywhere from hostel rooms to mess to the library and even classrooms.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a GD and 1 round of interviews. The topics were general with a little grilling in the interview round on general awareness, subject knowledge, past degree knowledge, and work experience related (if any).
