Remarks
The admission process is a bit tedious with many steps to follow. You have to submit your original academic documents, which in my opinion is not good for students. They can allot time slots for students based on their ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love computers and that's why I chose this course. The student faculty ratio is 20:1 For every 20 students,there's one faculty advisor who'll help you with anything. Faculties are qualified professionals except a few senior teachers who are a bit rude to the students for unnecessary reasons. Term exams are tougher than other engineering colleges. Usually, students will get 1-2 days of holidays between each exam. Term exams are in pen and paper mode for 100 marks. You need to atleast know the concepts to pass. Scoring 80+ requires lot of hard and smart work.You can't read the previous day and expect to score 65+ and all. Overall, the exams are tough, but not lengthy in case of CSE
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come with internships and stipends. All tech giants come to the college. 20-57% of students get internships with a stipend. They are each asked to do a project during their internship which will get them certified and experience for their career
Placement Experience
5th sem onwards, the students become eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit the campus,hard to name it all. Mainly,tech giants like Fb, google, Amazon,Wipro,info, Microsoft come Highest package was 1.5 cr for a cs student in 2021. Average package for a cs student is 10LPA Around 80% of students get placed within their 7th sem I plan to study further after getting a degree
Fees and Financial Aid
There are 3 scholarships available in the college based on your CGPA. Other than that, some talented students get funding from companies in their 5th sem only. You need to actively participate in hackathons to be in line for financial assistance. I'm currently in my 3rd sem and am not eligible right now for a job on campus
Campus Life
There's one cultural fest per year and monthly tech fests/hackathons which are conducted There are lots of books and journals available in the library. Available as soft copies too, which is a huge plus point for students who can't always carry the books everywhere. Every classroom is well built with wifi for students. Very little importance is given to sports in this college. Only just the college sports teams,which you can be a part of , only until your 6th sem There is n number of clubs in the college: be it women empowerment, music, movie, books, Rotaract, public speaking, and many more cultural and sports clubs. There's a social media page for each club and is easily accessible. There are also many student association clubs which help yeh students in their problems
