All information is available on the DU site. You have to apply for the course, in which you are interested. After checking cut off you have to apply for that college and take the printout and required document for admission to the college. Then the teacher verifies the document and you have to fill some forms. Then they send a link on your email for payment of college fees and then get admission to the college.

The exam is semester wise. And in each class, there will be more than 60 students. In college only BCom Hons course is available. Teachers are very friendly, they give assignments, sometimes on a daily basis.

Asian paint, AD-MAD, SBI, oriental bank of commerce etc came to college for placement and internship. You have to learn every thing that you have learn in the course of 3 year and revise for better placement and you can learn different language additional which college provides for student for better placement and internship.

Many companies came to college for placement and teachers also tell about which company is coming and their placement and some provide internships. For 1st and 2and year students can get internships and for 3rd year students is internship and placement. The average placement for students will be 5 lakh rupees.

Per year fees are around 17500 rupees. There are many societies in the college that provide internships and different seminars for students. You can join some societies and they will provide you with basic knowledge about work and give to some work for your learning.

Campus Life

In college there are many sports activities, there is an indoor badminton court. There are 3 floor libraries in the college which are interconnected you can use the computer on 4th floor for your study (only for study) college also provide a print out at low price for students (1 page for 1 rupee). From January to February there will fest for different societies and colleges.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Good college for Life science.

I had a chance to float and choose other colleges of Delhi University But this college has everything which a modern infrastructure college wants and lab facilities for sciemce students is much good than north campuses. Modern infrastructure of this college gives competition to North campus of delhi university. I applied for Delhi university and colleges which i selected was Hindu college,Ramjas college,SGTB khalsa,Deen dayal upadhyaya ,kirori mal college,etc. But in first round i Got Deen dayal college so i continued with it and froze my seat . Later on E mail came from college for joining. Your documents verification occurs in november and you are given a more chance if you are not able to submit the documentt. Eligibility of my course: PCB background with 60% in 12th And tou should apply for CUET and select subjects like Physics, chemistry and biology also English(qualifying).
