This college is one if the most premier institutes of Delhi University. And being one of the apex institutes of the country, this college drives many students every year to its admission. The college has one of the best placements as well which made me choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had completely updated faculties irrespective of having downgraded course material in the books. Faculty is very apprehensive and supportive of every child. They are ready to enhance your skills at their own level.Mrs. Sunita mishra was a specialised coding expert who graduated from IIT DELHI during her education.We were also provided industrial visits to popular industries including Infosys, TCIL and many more on a uniform basis.
Internships Opportunities
I have interned in TCS in Jamshedpur wherein I was offered a stipend of Rs.10,000 per month.I was offered a position of Technical assistant, where I had to complete all sorts of technical sourcing and back end coding of the companies operational CMS.
Placement Experience
Companies that visit our campus for recruitment are one of the best companies of India.Some of them include EY, Bain and company, TCIL, TCS, GOOGLE, AMAZON, FLIPKART, AND many more. Alumni networking helped me immensely in placement process as they helped secure a positive feedback for me. Various profile are offered including Junior programmer, Technical Assistant, Tax consultant, Junior Audit Assistant.Placement process overall is very good and a lot of opportunities pour in during the placement season.
College Events
Campus life was pretty good and too amazing. We enjoyed a lot be it in classes or outside the classes. We had a lot of events like, social drills, college freshers party, farewell party, academic quizes, annual function, fests which bought in many renowned personalities to the college. All in all, the college is quite active in extra-curricular activities as well. Mostly all the sports are being played in the college. We have one of the best fests held through delhi university. Anyone who fulfils the criteria, can get the opportunity to participate in the annual festivals.Overall, college holds a very good position in extra curricular activities.
Campus Life
We precisely had each and every facility in the campus be it sports ground, proper air-conditioned classes, good library space, chemistry lab having all the equipments, proper wi-fi networks, and computer labs, and all the basic facilities, clean classroms and cooperative workers.In short we had all the basic facilities that we would require in any educational institute.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms were not too good in terms of facilities and furniture, but sufficient enough to remain throughout graduation. We had a hostel warden who was very cooperative and did help us in every possible way.It is quite easy to avail hostel facility.You would get a sharing room where 2 staudents stays at a time. Since hostel seats are limited, you need to register a ssoon as possible. But nothing to worry. There are many PG's out there in the university area at a very nominal charge approx. 8000 monthly.Accomodation is not a problem here in delhi university colleges.
