Remarks
Very good for Computer Science and affiliated to CUSAT at the time I graduated. The college has a good set of professors and there is ample opportunity for growth. The IEEE Student Branch is strong and is a good place to grow.
Course Curriculum Overview
The CUSAT 2012 syllabus wasn' upto date. But no syllabus at the time was. As a computer science engineer I think the syllabus was apt and very resourceful. The only issue is that I felt that the number of main papers should be reduced and electives should increase.
Placement Experience
The options in school are limited and a little disappointing. The number of organisations that visit the college are less compared to schools but this is mostly because of areas. On the contrary, there are a lot of startups headed by alumni which enable opportunities for the students.
College Events
Extracurriculars is something I love at this institution. As an active volunteer in IEEE, I felt that this was indeed the best experience in my life so far. I had more than enough exposure and this has helped me in my development and career extremely.
Campus Life
Infrastructure isn't that great at my college. The labs aren't very great and the resources aren't very much. The library though is very much useful and is enough for anyone to refer and learn. The only issue is that info is never spoon fed, you have to go and learn for yourself.
