Very few colleges in India offer an undergrad degree in particularly Financial markets and Mumbai being the hub of Finance this college is really reputed for this particular course. The exposure which you get being in this college is of different level, you are supported with your entreprenurial skills, leadership skills and what not. Our Department has regular visit s to officies of brokerage firms and financial consultancy firms which gives us an edge by not just learning theoratically but also gain practical knowledge. There are insightful sessions by industry experts once in 2 weeks under the Concourse study club which conducts it. The monthly Financial magazine called BAAZAAR covers all the aspects of Indian financial markets with current stocks doing well and indentifying the stocks to invest in. The financial club holds monthly competitions to ensure that we have fun along with out study. Case study competitions and Extra curriculum are balanced which ensures overall development of mind.

Since our college has now become autonomous it is notbound with the usual University syllabus which gives us anedge over others. During our first year we had subjects like organisation behavior, Capital markets which are taught to the second year university students, likewise in second year subjects like Business reasearch, technical analysis, commodity markets are subjects which arent taught and all the notes and study material is prepared by our teachers itself. Some of the subjects are being taught at professional degree like CA, CFA level which gives us a better insight and will help us in future if we want to pursue any of the above mentioned course. Extra professional certification courses by stock exchanges like nse and nse are encouraged thus giving a practical knowledge about markets aswell.

The placements are decent enough and reputed companies come to our college like HDFC,ICICI,KPMG,EY etc which mostly offor roles at junior level consultancy or Research analysts for their various departments.many film stars and Industrialists have been in our Alumni network and companies like Schebang, NGO denied, Paper stories etc have been a part of our Entreprenurial cell and recently we were recognised by GOI and have started an Incubator ehich provides working spaces to such start up to promote Skill India and make in India

The campus life is really enjoyable, you get to meet a lot of diverse students coming from various parts of the country. Entourage is our department's financial festival which is the biggest financial festival in Mumbai which cators to a crowd of 600+ each year. Except that other fests are also organised by various other departments of the college and you are allowed to participate in that aswell. The best one is by the mass media department which sees a footfall of 1200+ and is one of the best fashion and cultural fests in India.

There are various scholarships available by the college andMumbai University.i had got a fees relaxation scholarship in my second year by my college. The name of that scholarship was Sumitomo Scholar. You van also avail scholarship or fee relaxation if you belong to not so privileged section of the society.

The infrastructure is really good, the new building where our department is has modern classroom with projector teaching. Its a fully airconditioned building with wifi facility and wooden comfortable benches. The canteen is really hygienic with nutritional food and the auditorim is big enough with a capacity of 500+ people. We also have a Gymkhana where all the sports activities take place like table tennis, badminton,gym etc being situated in south mumbai the area is really near to marine drive which gives an edge.
