Remarks

I got this college through the list from the entrance exam. That time the entrance exam was introduced for the first time i.e. MH-CET. The process was really lengthy and it took about 4-5 months to provide the college to the students. So to not to waste my year, I accepted this college and took interview. I chose this college over other colleges because of the course structure, the infrastructure of the college, fees value and also the timing of the classes. The college is like for only 3 hours in the morning so I could utilise my rest of the day for internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is a 5 year integrated course. The course was up to date. We are supposed to learn the legal background, its history and philosophies along with legal literature in first 2 years of the course and main law subjects in other 3 years. The course is very well curated to produce quality of lawyers in the market. I love the academics of the course, the subjects and also the pattern of subjects provided. The faculties are all amazing. They always help out students not only in academics but also in extra curricular activities such as Moot competitions, debate, research writing, etc. I really like my class teacher, Mrs. Pramila Dhiman ma'am.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I have been interning since my 1st year of college. I have interned with a law firm called Lex Convenience Advocate located at Fort, Churchgate, Mumbai. They paid my travel and food expenses and also bonus on festivities.I have also interned with Advocate Nagendra Dube and S.S. Dube. I have been to Cairo, Egypt for my international internship. It was is related to college and I went on my own.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are good. We have different committees in college, and one of them is the placement cell. The placement cell continuously provide for opportunities such as seminars, internships, social volunteering, events, etc. Also, Mumbai has some top firms in the country and due to the presence of High court, lower courts as well as various tribunals, the opportunities for work is very much diverse and great.

College Events

5

It is great. The faculties and students are very helping and co-operating. There takes place a lot of variety of events in the college such as annual day, cultural days, street plays, sports day, seminars with eminent personalities in the field of law and social work, Inter-college and national competitions, as well as events conducted by other organisations in our college. Activities include inside our college and also we are sent for different activities outside our college to get exposure and experience of practical training. It includes, moot court competitions (college, intra and nationals), debate, client counselling, research writing and publishing (college magazine and other platforms), etc.

Campus Life

It is a newly built infrastructure. It has 7 floors including air-conditioned classrooms with large windows for natural light to come in along with projectors and white boards, a very well updated library, moot court room, teacher's staff room, clean and organised washrooms, canteen, camera facility to monitor the students, spaced hallways, conference room for small events with great chair system, podium and other sound and visual equipments, etc.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
