Remarks

I chose this because of dual degree and its IIIT status, also I wanted to study computer science only and this was the best possible choice for my rank. This is the oldest IIIT and placement scenario is good. Location was acceptable for me as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good , you get to study your subjects from semester one, no common subjects for every stream in first year Curriculum is better than older institutes. Since there are 5 years of study you get one extra year for preparation for outside world.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 58575 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is Good. There are enough companies coming every year. Highest CTC in 2021 was 42 LPA and average was around 15 LPA. Big MNCs are also coming every year. Internship opportunities are also available in fourth year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is low as compared to other IIITs. Financial Assistance is available in form of numerous scholarship schemes run by Government of India, there is no tuition fee for SC/ST students. Placement scenario of college is good many MNCs come here for placement offers. Amazon is coming continuously. Highest CTC was 42 lpa and average CTC was 14.58 lpa in 2021.

Campus Life

The campus is really beautiful. Amazing library and sports club facilities. Classrooms are equipped with AC. Library has reading room where students are free to walk in anytime of the day, also equipped with AC. They have various activity clubs of which students can be a part of since 1st year of the college itself.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Rooms are spacious. Hostel and mess are compulsory. Single room allotted to every student from first year itself. Every hostel has its own Mess. Badminton court is available in every hostel. There is no AC in BH1,BH2,BH3 but you are allowed to install one by giving extra charges, everyone is allowed to install window coolers.

Admission

JEE Mains is the only exam you need to take for admission. There are no other Group Discussion, Interview or Written Test. But one need to have a rank under 15K.

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. Average as of last year median is around 7 lakhs for electrical branch students.

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Jiwaji University Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
