Institute had reputation , great for research and practical knowledge opportunities, also nearest NIT to my home Admission was through Josaa And i got the branch i wanted join. i got information about the college from friends and seniors
Course Curriculum Overview
I had interest in designing and machine related things, so i always wanted to do bachelor's in mechanical engineering branch. Faculties were great in the institute and student friendly, academic environment is so much prosperous and productive. There were two exams in each semester, mid-sem and end-sem, difficulty level was moderate
Internships Opportunities
I haven't opted for any internship because of pandemic. In place of that, we were provided a project or theory course compensating the credits for internship. Internship procedure is also conducted by placement cell. Students after completing 4 th semester can sit for on campus internship offers. Or else one can approach to companies directly for internship.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester, students were eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit each year according to branches available in the institute. Highest package vary a lot from year to year, but average package stays around 5 LPA. percentage of students getting placements vary from branch to branch; for circuital branch it is around 80-90% for non circuital branches, it is 60-70% placements in core companies is very low, less than average I am planning to prepare for competitive exams after degree or doing masters at any reputed institution.
Campus Life
there were at least 3 to 4 fests during an academic year The most famous fests were technical fest: Innovision and cultural fest: NITRutsav people from different colleges participate and enjoy a lot. Library was decent and full of books and knowledge. Institute was conducting sports tournaments and meets throughout the year including a major athletic meet.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was either two seater or single room Furnitures include one bed, one chair, one table, one cup board for each student in a room. Meal quality was good and sanitation was also good Hostel allocation was done during Registration process for the institute, no separate registration
Admission
No GD or interviews for admission, only required criteria was cutoff from JEE main score, provided by the college. One must prepare for JEE mains after coming to 11th class.
