Rajdhani College may not be the first choice for some but it was for me because my brother did his graduation here and he was really happy with the facilities here so he recommended it to me. The college is given grade B+ by NAAC at a scale 3 while it is also approved by UGC. Being affiliated to Delhi University the admission procedure here is not different then other colleges under DU and Merit based selection is conducted.

It was decided by me during my 10+2 that I will pursue my graduation in B.Com & then do PG in M.Com and as per my plans I applied for B.Com at Rajdhani College. The course was just like a normal degree programme and exams were conducted according to the university guidelines. Our teachers were really professional and many of them had Doctorate degrees in their respective domains.I was really happy that my brother recommended this college to me.

Just like placements, Internship round at our college was a success and I got a decent stipend offer but the job role wasn't that helpful for my experience and that's why I didn't work in it. In that time stint, I worked as a campus ambassador with a website and it helped me in growing my leadership skills.

Our college has a Placement cell which makes all arrangements regarding them. For my batch nearly 80% placements were recorded by the college at an average salary of INR 3 LPA. Companies such as Reliance group, Lido Learning, Wipro, EY and Tata were present and the highest package bagged was INR 6.8 Lacs. As I wanted to do my M.Com I wasn't a part of the round but yeah the opportunities here were good.

Expenses are pretty low for the B.Com- Hons programme in our college. We were charged a total of INR 33,510 rupees throughout the 3-year course and all Tuition, Exam and academic charges were included within this fee. Students have to submit this fee in the shifts decided by the college and no such difficulty was faced due to the reasonable division of the fee.

Just like its name Rajdhani College is a famous name in the Capital and has been functioning in its current campus from 1977. There are a variety of activities organised throughout the year among which Seminars, Sports and Corporate events are very popular. The college has club's for Dance, Drama, Music etc and students can join as per their interests. I used to participate in the Dance activities of our college as I've been enthusiastic about dancing since my childhood.

I didn't have to opt for hostels because I have been living in Delhi from the very start. However students belonging to other cities had to search for PG rooms/flats because no hostel facilities were provided by the institute. But students don't feel that difficulty in finding accommodations due to its availability in very less distance from the college campus, that too at affordable prices.

It is important to have at least 50% of aggregate marks in 10+2 to apply for the B.Com(H)programme at Rajdhani College. The students who match the cut-off released by the college can apply on the website and the selection is based upon the Merit list made from all the applicants
