Recalling My Best Days With GITAM

For me GITAM was and GITAM will always remain the best college in my lifetime and i can proudly say that whether it is the best college or not but it is surly one of the best college available in near by Delhi -NCR area.

After cracking GATE Exam I was looking for best college available to me in Delhi-NCR for my Post Graduation in Computer Science and then suddenly after spending many days in searching out i found GITAM that runs PG course in Cyber Forensics & Information Security. I found it intresting as it was a unique Course than traditional computer science or Information Technology courses. GATE scholarship was also available to me and i had a chance to learn the basics of Cyber Forensics and the Cuber Security that has the most potential in building and shaping my career thats why i choose GITAM.

I had expert notes on my subject matter, related video tutorials for better demonstration, tools and software and a proper lab to learn, practice and to see live demonstration by our faculties, Who are always ready and available to provide proper guidance and course materials. GITAM also has a rich library that had also proved a very useful resource at times to me.

Off course yes! My college provides internship and other useful industrial resources in relevant semesters and has many tie ups with different companies.They provide state of the art training schedules in college and in other industrial places and it is also according to student choice.

Placement is superb.So many companies visited the campus.Most of my seniors are already got placed in campus placements and apart of this so many job fairs and career counselling program run in college campus at times. MNCs(HCL, wipro etc.) have visited here for there placement drive.

Events are one of the best part of the GITAM, so many technical, cultural,and other events like engineers day, teachers day etc. are celebrated here. ACHIEVERS isthe best fest for techno geeksand one of the most awaited event for all among all.A 3 days event in which first day is for technical and second day is for projects only and the third day is for CULTURAL in which star night by a good celebrity is held. Many celebrities like Harbhajan Maan had come here and brought delight and thrill with there magnetic fired performances.

In GITAM fee structure is affordably feasible as it is not too much like some other college and has a very normal charges as compare to other near by colleges.Even if I was lucky enough to get my scholarship from AICTE I would like to mention that anyone can pay the fee very easily and if somebody is not feasible to pay the fee then some scholarships are also given to those eligible students too.

As I already told that I was getting my GATE scholarship from AICTE therfore I never applied to any other scholarship program but other scholarship is also available and given to the meritorious and needy students according to their ranks in Exams and also in Class toppers ranks. Scholarship is also granted by the MDU, if any students get the rank in university.

My college life is very good in GITAM. I enjoyed every moment here.I liked sports and the ground of GITAM which is very large where I played a lot with my friends. In the Sports day various colleges came here with their teams and we enjoyed a lot playing and competing with and against each other. Personally i love every event of GITAM.

Personally I never applied for hostel facilities as i lived in delhi so never needed it but i can say one thing sure that they have very satisfactory Hostel Facilities as per some of my friends who adopted for it and as far as for mess food It is very tasty and healthy as I always had my lunch in mess. Really really very good and full of nutrition.

Senior students were really very helpful as they help me in my study and preparation of various events. They helped me every where in the college whether it is regarding to teachers, or some other events.

Exam structure is good.In Semester two times sessional exams are taken and after that at the end of the semester final university exams are conducted.The pattern of exams are very comprehensive same as sessional exams so our preparation goes very well due to our sessional exams. Practicals are also taken here that is categorized into internals and externals. GITAM has a very strong and versatile Faculties and a very disciplined environment that boost our performance in exams and finally I had succeed in achieving 1st Rank in University in my academics.

Faculty is highly educated and cooperative in providing guidance and subject knowledge. HOD Neetu Mam,Mahesh Sir and Puneet Sir were always available to me. Others faculties were also available at times for guest lectures and seminars.All I can say that overall my experience with my faculties was very interactive, responsive and memorable to me.
