A good choice

I choose to study B.Pharma at MMC, Chennai because the institute was very good in terms of providing quality education services, well-versed faculty, spacious classroom facilities, cordial student:staff relationship, etc. Even the admission process went very smoothly where the admission authorities were very helpful. They ensure that students get admitted to the respective courses easily without facing any difficulty. I had to attend the counselling session in order to be finally selected for the course.

The MMC had designed the B.Pharma course in a way to enable the students to understand the challenges and obstacle that occurs in the medical field. I must say that I came across the best faculties who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They made sure that students understand the course in a practical way. Coming to the exams, it were conducted on a timely basis and each semester we had to pay certain amount as exam registration fees.

We are asked to avail the internships as the MMC believes that students should learn more about the work before experiencing it in a more practical way. As a result, many internship are offered to the students. They're either paid or unpaid.

Talking about placement, the institute doesn't organise any campus placement drive or anything but makes sure that the students are enhanced with necessary skills and experience. As a result, many students from various courses are required to grab the internship opportunity. However, the faculty grooms the students by training them accordingly. For the B.Pharma course, the highest package is INR 1.90 lakhs in total.

The fee structure of my B.Pharma course is INR 646400 in total which covers the entire tuition fees. However the institute allows to pay these fees in installments also which is one of the very good benefits of the college. Also, there are scholarships which can be availed by the students nased on their eligibility criteria. The scholarship available at MMC are Central Sector Scholarship, CBSE scholarship, intelligent award, Prime Minister Award, CM Award, Free Education Scholarship, etc.

The Madras Medical College (MMC) is located at an amazing campus environment which is well-equipped with a the necessary facilities such as laboratory facilities, smart classrooms, theatre, auditorium, common rooms with attached washrooms for both boys and girls, sports facilities, library, hospital beds, and many more that creates a very good environment for the students.

The Hostels at MMC are well equipped and occupied with all the necessary amenities such as security, canteen, Wifi, parking, recreation room, gym, mess facilities, yoga centers, etc. There's a mess that is functioned by the catering who prepare hygienic foods under hygiene temperature.
