Entrance Preview

I took examination conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, dehradun. I scored more than 70% marks and got selected for 1st counselling. I opted this college because it is very famous college ofRoorkee and I am also a native of Roorkee.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculam is as precribed by National Council For Teacher Education. It is good. Two main subjects Science and Maths arecommon for all students of science group.

Internships Opportunities

Ours is a B.Ed College and do not offer internship and stipend. As faras my knowledge is concerned no B.Ed college in India offer internshipand stipend to students.

Placement Experience

Our college do not provide placements and job opportunities. But B.Edis a professional hence there is no problem of job. Each and everyschool in India require B.Ed as essential qualification.

College Events

Our college conducted various events like annual function and variousother function like independence day, republic day, hindi diwas, environment day etc. and festivals like holi, deepawali etc. They alsoorganized workshops and seminars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was affordable. There were two quota: State Quota fee 40,000, 60,000. Manamgement quota fee 60,000 or 1,20,000. I was selected through state quota i paid 40,000. Besides exam fee and practical fee was paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholar ship or loan facility. But There weresome scholarships there in the college. Any bank can provideeducation loan. 23 banks were there in the vicinity of college.

Campus Life

It is a girls college. They conduct regular workshops, debates and sportactivities in the college. Lab activities were a part of course curriculamand almost daily we had lab activities.

Exam Structure

Examinations are annual but sessionals and class test were alsothere. Examination pattern and syllabus was as per Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very important for me and I am very eagerly waiting for this course. With this with the help of the scores I want to do the some competitions and which also made me to do for further academic pursuits. The curriculum is too good and I can pursuing in the teaching method which is very good according to my subjects. There are two types of exam college first one is internal exams which is of 1 hours and second one is external exam which is one of two hours.

Dav pg college dehradun's b. Ed course : inexpensive, easy and underrated

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for govt exams but couldn't clear any. So I decided to try my hand in this field by acquiring b. Ed govt seat. Also I have always enjoyed teaching. There are 47 students in the class and 6 teachers. All the teachers are excellent. And also very humble. There is no pressure of any kind on students. Classroom environment is very light and easy. Almsot all faculty members are phd holders, and all are highly Qualified. Lectures are more like stories rather than conventional notes making type. Internals exams and externals are held once in each semester. The level of the examination is easy. A student can easily pass after studying the syllabus. There ave been many assignments given and activities performed. Class tests have also taken. There are 4 lectures in a day. Classes are taken Regularly. DAV's b. Ed is quite different from other ug pg courses. There is regularity in everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For anybody who has an interest in teaching could do this course. The college has six teachers. They will reach you in all four semesters which includes teaching practice in schools in the second semester. There are about 60 students per batch.

D.A.V REVIEW

Remarks:

D.A.V is oldest college in dehradun with all courses present in one college.Its a goverment aided college and receive funds from government. Graduation and post graduation along with B.Ed.,M.Ed., Law department is also there. Well equipped library facilities are available.
