Remarks

Overall college days fantastic moment and it is indellible in nature. We all miss those days and gives smile on our face.

Entrance Preview

i took CAT and scored 75 percentile. CAT is tricky exam and totally based on conceptual and anslytical skills. This is one of the toughest entrance exam of india and very seats available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was in depth and it need lots of practice to crack the CAT. I have used the TIME classes and their material is so good. If you have done with all material offcourse it will help you out to crack the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is good platform to get trained on work. It will enhance your skill knowledge the way of thinkng. It will provide you foundation to get in the corporate world so that you can sustain in this corporate world.

Placement Experience

Being an student of normal college placement is also normal but if you have talent you can get the best placement out of the college.

College Events

Rara avis is a festival for dance food fashion show drama and many thing. College sports day is organising for sports student. Participant are from cricket, badminton, table tenis etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per the govt college, fee is very less as comparison to other private college. My total fees are 300000 for two years but these cost are beared by us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope but for the obc, sc, st 50% of fees are refundable and these refundable are really mean a lot for the students.

Campus Life

Campus life is amazing with different aspects. Late night study going out for coffee and maggi. Everything is fun people are from different states and their culture geys mixed up into one culture i.e. College campus culture.

Hostel Facilities

I am not part of hostel but our colleague used to stay on hostel and they are quite happy with hospitalites of the hostel. Food water sanitation rooms everything are parfect.

Alumni/Alumna

All senior are amazing and they help a lot at the starting time to get settled in collge campus environment. Still they are in touch with us. They helps us in job switch and in many aspects.

Exam Structure

Exam was combination of lab and written exam. Their ratio is 40:60. We are giving equal focus on both to score good marks.

Faculty

Faculty was well experienced and fantastistic teaching skills. They will help you out every time. They will solve your problem at any cost inspite of lacking time as well.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
