A Look At JU

The college's ranking was featured in different magazines like outlook. Moreover its quite inexpensive as compared to other options like Manipal or Thapar. And it's a good option if you want to stay in Jaipur. The number of companies that visit the campus is also quite good and the placement is near 100% plus the average package is on par the other colleges in Jaipur except MNIT & LNMIIT. So overall it's a safe choice for jaipur kids if you wanna stay in Jaipur itself. The student life is also good.

The course covers the basic core areas but it's a bit better than other colleges as faculties are always trying to add new and current topics that are upcoming in the market. Moreover the also run CRT(Campus Recruitment Training) classes which prepares us for the on campus placements.

The placements in our colleges are decent. Approx every student got placed with majors companies visiting our college like Accenture(bulk recruiter), ZS associates(Highest package), Cape Gemini, Celebal, Chegg, TCS, Tata Power, Deloitte, EY, Wipro etc. Around 80 companies visit our campus each year. And you'll get placed even if you've back in some subjects still try to maintain your grades.

The fees is quite low as compared to what is been offered. They do provide scholarship at least during our time they did based on our JEE marks and the percentages we scored in class 12. They do provide a little stipend when you wanna work for the college. It at least covers our food & travel expense and if you wanna stay in the hostel that would be free.

Various events are happen throughout the year and in all disciplines. The annual fest of our college is called JU Rhythm. It's a 3 full day event where a lot of events from all backgrounds take place like the generic Dances(group, solo, bboying), Music( Band war, DJ war, Singing, Instruments war, etc). Some unique events would be RoboWars, RC Plane, Go cart etc. Infact you can organise your own event as well. Various colleges come to the campus as well like different IITs, colleges from DU, chandigarh etc. Many student exchange programs also happen because IAESTE in which you get decent enough stipend and to spend your summer holidays in different countries like Germany, USA, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Vietnam, Egypt etc etc. where you get to work under a professor of a esteemed university. There are also various clubs which are all nearly driven by students, notable ones are E-Cell, dance club(Quintessence), Literature club and theatre club. Other good events that happen in the campus include Wonder of Words(WoW), JU VERVE(sport meet), Hackathon etc.

There was a small interview which our HOD sir took and he asked some basic question like why you wanna join this course, are you really interested etc. It was nothing to tough just wanted to see where my interest lies.
