Remarks

Sri Venkateswara college is having 60 years of academic legacy. It have 11th rank in NIRF 2021. The admission is based on the class XII marks. SVC is best institute with affordable fees. The institute offers UG and PG courses with excellent curriculum, course content, add on courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The BCom course curriculum involves assignments, field work, workshops, project work etc. The faculties are experienced and have good industry knowledge. They are supportive and gives students good career guidance.

Placement Experience

Good placements are in the institute every year, and B Com students are getting greater number of job offers. INR 19.25 LPA was the top salary offer in 2021. The average salary offer was INR 5,41,264.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The per year programme fees for B Com (Hons) is INR 12,405. For reserved category students, fee waivers and Fee Reimbursement option is available for SC ST candidates. There is also summer internship for 2 months with stipends.

Campus Life

The campus life enables the students to become more socially responsible by taking part in various community outreach programmes. Nexus is the annual cultural fest conducted during February or March. There are separate associations for Fine arts, Alumni and each department.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
