Remarks
You are eligible for the MBA program at IMT Ghaziabad if you clear the CAT cut off. I got a score of around 93 percentile. The application form is available on the college's website. The fee was around Rs.1000. I did not avail of any reservation benefits. The process was comfortable.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the MBA program of IMT because I knew that the college is amazing at the same. The faculties here are trained to provide students with real life learning experiences. The teaching was done through Harvard Business cases, real time simulators etc. Faculty to student ratio was around 1:30.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies visited the campus for internships. The majority of these offered a marketing role like marketing analyst, research analyst, sales executive, business development executive etc. The average stipend was around Rs.50,000/month.
Placement Experience
Campus placements start from the second trimester for internships. 100% of students were placed and more than 30 companies visited the campus. The highest package domestically was around 30 lakh/annum and 40 lakh/annum internationally.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no policy of fee hike. During my study at IMT, the fee increase by 35000 the next year i.e. for the second year of my MBA. I got into Mother Dairy as a Marketing Analyst from the campus with a stipend of Rs.60,000. Got no scholarship or financial assistance from the campus.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is amazing. I still miss my days at IMT Ghaziabad. We had a huge library with an abundance of books. The classrooms have all the basic amenities ranging from AC to blackboards. Many sports are played at a campus like football, cricket and badminton. I was part of the Cricket team and we also won various competitions.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms have a basic bed, a cupboard, a study table, a washroom and a window. The rooms are spacious. We also have meals which are of decent quality. The menu is fixed for each day and changes after every week. The hostel is affordable in a place like Ghaziabad.
Interview Experience
The topic for my GD was "Is multitasking easy? And what are the ways we can excel at multitasking?" The interview questions mainly focused on my background, previous studies that I had done and a few questions relating to why I wanted to do MBA. You need to give the CAT exam to be eligible for IMT.
