Remarks

The admission process is very decent. There are a merit based admission depending upon the HS(higher secondary) marks and after declaring the merit list the students are present in the list can be admitted. The application form finds on the official website of the college and the application fees are reasonable. Here are also the benefits of reservation categories like SC, ST, OBC etc. Firstly I have said the admission process is very decent so no need to talk about improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

When I have passed my SSC exam (secondary exam) I got admission into the commerce department and for further study (graduation) I have chosen this college. Faculty student ratio is about 8:90. the faculty members are well qualified and master of their field. every 6 months there is a class test and the end sem the semester exam happens. the exams are quite difficult.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is very low, in the other words, you can say also very reasonable. Many kinds of state govt. and central govt. scholarships are available, like OASIS scholarship, SVMCM scholarship, NSP scholarship and many more.

Campus Life

There is some fest and freshers arranged by the union in every year. When I have to pursue in 2nd year a big fest program was arranged and some big stars and politicians are invited like Modan Mitra, Darshan Raval (singer). A well and good library present in our college and course related every books and journal are present in the library. there is also sports is a part of our college life but I have little bit idea of that because in sports I have quite interested. any kind of social group is not present.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
