IIM Ranchi- Review

The CAT 2020 score was used to determine admission to IIM Ranchi's MBA programme. Quantitative Aptitude - 80 percentile, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning - 80 percentile, Verbal & Reading Comprehension - 80 percentile, and an overall percentile of 94 were the CAT cut-off percentiles for consideration for admission to IIM Ranchi. The Personal Interview (PI) phase was held virtually for the shortlisted candidates. A GD and PI round was held, with the focus on Current Affairs and General Aptitude. The procedure was great and was carried out in a timely manner.

At IIM Ranchi, the faculty to student ratio is around 1:15. The majority of the professors are PhD scholars from various IIMs and IITs. At IIM Ranchi, we use a case study pedagogy in which each subject is supported by at least one case study. Every time a new module is taught, it is accompanied by a case study. Students are expected to undertake pre-reading on the topic and come to class prepared to discuss it. Every 1.5 months, mid-term exams were held, and end-term exams were held every three months.

145 companies participated in the summer internship process for the MBA class of 2020-22. BFSI remained the most popular sector for job seekers. The highest stipend, Rs.3.5 lacs, was granted in the Strategy and Consulting category. Asian Paints, Godrej, ICICI Lombard, JP Morgan & Chase, and Capgemini are among the top recruiters. Product marketing, risk analysis, operations analytics, strategy, and consulting are some of the roles available.

The college guarantees placement and provides assistance 100 percent of the time. The placements for the current batch have been spectacular, with a large increase in the mean and median incomes, and the highest is approximately 30 LPA. Placement reports will be provided with the specific placement numbers. Federal Bank, TATA, ITC, AIG, Mahindra Finance, Aditya Birla, Dell, JP Morgan, and others were among the top recruiters who participated in our placement campaign.

The MBA programme costs a total of Rs. 16.3 lacs. In addition, a mess fee of Rs. 21,000 is charged each term. The total amount I paid included my room rent as well. The institute also supplies us with a number of government and private scholarships. Details of which can be found on the Government of India's National Scholarship Portal. Bank loans are readily available, and job placement is excellent.

Hostels, mess, Sport building, Library, GYMs, Bank on campus, Glossary shop, medical facilities, and other amenities are available at IIM Ranchi. The campus life standards are much higher here since the institute places a strong emphasis on maintaining a balanced approach to all aspects of growth. As a result, there are both academic events and competitions, as well as a Sports Festival, Alumni interaction, and Arts activities. A vast number of clubs and clubs exist at IIM Ranchi to conduct events related to their fields.

Because our college is located in a naturalistic environment, the hostel facilities are enhanced. The rooms are offered for both men and women on a single basis, with an annual cost covering all of their needs. The hostel accommodations are fantastic, however, because of COVID, we are unable to utilise the hostel facilities. As for the mess food, the quality is excellent when compared to other universities.

Every year, a lot of students apply for admission to IIM Ranchi, but only the most eligible get accepted. The institute makes admissions decisions based on overall performance in the shortlisting and interview rounds, ensuring that only the best candidates are admitted to IIM Ranchi. In the second stage of the admission procedure, the college conducts Personal Interviews to choose its students. The interviewer may ask personal, current events, or business-related inquiries.
