Reality check of IIIT, UNA

Admissions are done through JOSSA/CSAB counseling. After this college is allotted one has to report to the college, currently, it's done online on their website https://iiitu.ac.in . if you are getting a rank of about 25-40k in to jee mains exam you can get admission in this college easily

The course curriculum is decent but a little old but there is not much pressure you can handle everything easily. The faculty ratio is 15:1 most of the teachers are Ph.D. degree holders and their teaching methods are generally good but exceptions are always there. There are 2 CT's and 1 end-term exam in a semester 1.5-2 months gap in every CT.

1 full semester is dedicated to the internship in the 6th semester. 70-80% of students are provided internships by the college in various places, the highest stipend that was given last year was of 1 lakh rupees per month rest go on their own off-campus.

The placements compared to other iiit's it very awesome here its almost average package is 8.6 LPA, many big companies like Deloitte, EY, Microsoft visit here, if you are even average in coding you can get a package of 10+ very easily and if you are good at coding you can expect an average package of almost above 20+ easily. 1 full semester is dedicated to the internship the 6th semester so hence if you work for a company for 6 months there is a very high chance that you'll get a PPO hence most of the students get ppo's often.

As this is a college of national importance and comes under MHRD & MOE so it's very unlikely that's its fees is gonna be very high but yeah as compared to other private normal college's its fees is low and it's not going rise much.

Campus life is amazing there are 2 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel, one fun fact is that for 1st-year hostels are coed. All the classrooms are well equipped with AC, and the hostel is brand new so they are very nice. there are 4 clubs - event management club (epmoc) cultural club (eunoia) AVEESH FORCE ( the 2 technical coding clubs ) Many social events happen here very frequently but in corona time it's reduced very much, but still, the clubs are trying hard to conduct several events online as well. For musicians, dancers, coders there will be a very lovely environment not that much exciting but yes pretty much it's good. There will be a very big stadium type of ground for cricket and many other events. Swimming pools etc are many things that the campus is equipped with.

There is one bed, one table one charge of high-speed internet, one almirah, and the best part a very beautiful balcony. All the hostels are equipped with one common playing area, a sports complex, one common tv room, and a terrace.
