Remarks

I Got admission completely on the basis of my 12th class. But now from this year onwards that is from 2022 entrance exam would be conducted, now 12th marks weightage is 50% and 50% of entrance exam. The application form is available on the University of Delhi's official site.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from a commerce background and also pursuing ca, and the BCom syllabus is a little similar to ca syllabus. So while doing ca I have chosen this course so that college exam will not be the point of pressure. The faculty of our college is very supportive. Some teachers are ca and some dr. Also(Ph.D.). Dyal Singh College conducts exam 2 times a year that is conducted on the central level under the University of Delhi.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like ferns and petal ey global and 100+ internship opportunities are provided to students. Our college placement cell is very active. Internship in hr, sale department, marketing, voice inbound and many more are provided.

Placement Experience

Our college provides great campus placement opportunities. Many students ate being offered jobs and internships opportunities. Internships are provided for every semester, and in the 6th semester many job opportunities are being provided. Many big companies like EY, KPMG, WIPRO are recruiters companies of our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course is approx 45000 till now including all charges of examination fees too. But there might be some hike in coming years. Pur college provides a scholarships facility also, for a scholarship you can apply for a national scholarship program And fill the form pn Dyal Singh College official site. Some other scholarships ate also provided for economical weaker students.

College life exposure is dependent on every student how that student takes that opportunity. College provide so many opportunities for those who want to grab this. Dayal Singh College has so many active societies, many events projects are done by them on a monthly basis that provides great opportunities to students.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college.
