Remarks
The course is a very good course and its eligiblility is JEE MAINS/ WBJEE rank and science stream in 12th. The admission process is very good. Both Online and Offline admissions are available, so that every eligible student can get admission into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Tech in CSE is such a great course which opens a great opportunity for getting jobs in the IT Companies and I liked to do the job there, so I did chose the course. There are very good faculties present in the college (Almost 12-15 faculties per Department) and the number of students is almost 50-60 per class. All the faculties are very well qualified and their teaching quality is genuinely very good and easily understandable by the students. There happen 4 internal theory exams and 2 internal lab exams in each semester and they are easy to pass if someone attends the classes regularly.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft are the companies that visited the college campus and they made about 150 offers. The highest package was 25000/- per month and the average package was 19000/- per month. Almost 70% of the students got placements from the college campus. My plan is to pursue the M.Tech degree after getting the B.Tech degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are pretty good and also very much affordable for the course, which is 30000/- per semester and the time of admission the college takes 20000/- as admission fees. Every student who gets 75% marks in a year is eligible for applying for a scholarship (SVMCM Scholarship, Nabanna Scholarship etc.). In the 3rd year and 4th year, many students get jobs from the college campusing.
Campus Life
Both Annual Fest and Tech Fest takes place every year in April and August respectively. The library stocks are pretty good and students get books from the library each semester according to their semester subjects. The classrooms are very good, clean and healthy. Annual sports takes place every year in January and also there happens many cultural programs on different occasions in the college, where participating students also get certificates.
