The traditional place to learn

When I have completed my higher secondary education I desired to join Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College. So I went to campus and got an admission form. After the 12th result admission process has been started. There was no entrance exam for admission but it was done based on percentage, it was really an easily accessible process. Nowadays due to pandemic protocol admission forms are available online for benefit of many upcoming students. I personally didn't find any difficulty in this process so according to me, there is no need for improvement.

Even from my school days, I have a special interest in chemistry and I also wanted to explore more in chemistry so I chose chemistry. When it comes to teacher-student ratio our college has a sufficient amount of facilities and each of them is paying enormous attention for individual students. In fact, these facilities have further catalyzed my interest in chemistry. The faculties who are teaching to me are always providing informative and interesting lectures when it comes to examinations we are having exams and cycle tests in regular intervals and knowledgeable questions in exam enables us to grow our interests even more.

Our department students have been selected for the summer research internship programme for every year which is organized by the Indian Academy of Science, Bangalore. There are many projects were done by our students.

Students who are pursuing final years are eligible for campus placements. There are more companies visiting our college for placement interviews like Wipro, TCS etc. Students should secure a maximum of 80% to get a job through the placement. After getting my degree I planned to continue my higher studies.

My college is providing an affordable fees structure. They are providing us many scholarships both government, as well as private scholarships like Teacher's day scholarship, BC, MBC scholarship, etc., The scholarship, is provided at the proper time. The job we are got through the on-campus interview.

Every year our college celebrates an annual fest, cultural day, etc. In our college we have a common library there are so many books like magazines, journals, etc, Apart from the common library we also have a department library in each department. In the department library, subject-oriented books are kept. My classroom is more comfortable. Our college not only motivates for studies they also take special care for sports. They encourage our extracurricular activities. They are providing training within our college, It has sufficient place to practice.
