Remarks

As DEI takes admission in B.Tech based on merit (student's 10th + 12th + JEE marks). So after calculating the merit they directly call students for a personal interview. So they can add a GD round before PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

CTs held after 2 months probably. In one semester 2 CTs has been taken by DEI so that students go through their subjects regularly. DHA (daily home assignment) and CA are also taken by teachers on regular basis. The exam is of moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like L&T, IIT Kanpur, etc come to college for internships. The stipend offered by these companies for an internship is around 5000 rupees. Third-year and final-year projects made by students with proper guidance.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, the company starts coming to college. A lot of companies come to our college like Escorts Ltd, JSW, Fiat, E&Y, TVs, NVT, etc for placement. Nearly 70 to 80 percent of students get placed in mechanical. I got placed too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can get Scholarships and some other benefits from college like Financial help in projects and researches. I got placed in Escorts Construction Equipment Ltd through my blog with a stipend salary of approx. 23000(in hand).

Campus Life

Life at college was quite good. The college conducts various competitions and extra co-curricular activities to enhance students' skills and hobbies. Various workshops and webinars are also conducted by the college.

Interview Experience

The admission process includes only merit and personal interview. First, they make a merit of students who fill the form, then make merit from 10th,12th, and JEE percentage and then call students for interview. Interview questions are of moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
