Remarks

Easy admission process. The requirement for B. Tech is you have to score a minimum of 180 in PCM combined. You can find the application form on the website then you have to fill up the form and then you have to pay the semester and admission fees which is around 78k approx(hostel fees not included).

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very generous. They are ready to help the students in every possible way. I opted for B. Tech (cybersecurity) because I want to do something in this field as I have little knowledge about web development and little about hacking also.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Amazon, Exposys, AICTE, Graveiens and many more provide many internship opportunities. Many more companies like EDGate, ARDENT, Abhyaz, Internshala also provides free internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

Students of 3rd and above semester are eligible for placements. There is 65% availability of getting placements. Many companies like Tata, Infosys etc come here to offer jobs and salary packages starts from around 3lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structures are very compatible. They provide many kinds of scholarships like the Hakeem Abdul Hameed Scholarship, the EY scholarship, OASIS scholarship and many more. You have to contact Mr Sunanda Chatterjee to know more about the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Campus is about 50 acres with many kind of facilities like football field, volleyball court, basketball court, swimming pool etc. Infrastructure is also good. You can find any books and journals in library.

Hostel Facilities

Basically there are 2 hostel campus one in main campus and 2nd one is 15km away from college with maximum benefits. Meals are good. They provide you breakfast7:30 in morning, lunch at 1:00pm, snacks at 6 and dinner at 8:30

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
