NIT Srinagar

NIT Srinagar is a renowned institution for science and technology. However, the authenticity of the institute also offers an outstanding MBA program as well. I applied for the MBA program at NIT Srinagar and have not regretted the decision ever since. A decent CAT score was a big step in getting into the institute. Later the interview played an important role in the admission process.

The course is divided into four semesters that offers an advanced level of knowledge in the management and business field. I chose the course because of my eager interest in the business and corporate world. The faculty at NIT Srinagar is kind and helpful. Also, their teaching methods are very fine too.

The placement cell at NIT Srinagar has also been pretty decent. I remember the time I passed out, the placement rates for my batch were around 60-70%. A lot of multinationals came in for campus visits and interviews. Most of the students from my batch were placed at fine colleges. In 2020, the highest placement package available to MBA students was INR 22 LPA, with an average package of INR 8.7 LPA. ABB, Amdocs, Oyo, Tally, Ceat Limited, Anglo Eastern, and others are among the institute's top recruiters.

I am afraid I am not that aware of the scholarships provided by the institute. But the fee structure for MBA at NIT Srinagar was pretty affordable. The fee structure for the whole program is around 1.01 Lakhs.

The campus life at NIT Srinagar was a charm as usual. The college has an astonishing campus with many clubs for students to be involved in. Moreover, there were fests that made life more exciting at NIT Srinagar. There are numerous annual fests and programmes. Our institution recently had a TEDx poloview, which was a huge success thanks to the efforts of the administration and students. Many organisations and clubs, such as Torus, are also present.
