Remarks
The admission process was on the basis of merit as per DU guideline but from it will on entrance based. The cut off for KMC is very high. Application form and fee will be found on the DU website for UG admission. For reserved category the cut off marks will be a few less as compared to general. Entrance based admission would be more adorable.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a great interest in physics since school, I want to make a career in physics so I opted for physics. The student faculty ratio is better than other colleges in DU. The ratio is 40:01. All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method is also good. The term exams are always on time, To get better marks in exams is quite difficult
Internships Opportunities
I think KMC is little bit weaker in this field. Students have to be in touch with respective faculty to know about internships. There is no cell/group for the internship. Students have to find internships on himself/herself. A few teachers make internships available. But colleges do no effort to make paid internships available.
Placement Experience
From the fifth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Students from science backgrounds got more placements than other students. A lot of companies including Tata Reliance etc visits college for campus selection. Last year a student from physics Hons got the highest package of 18 lakh per annum. At least 10% of students get placement.my plan after graduation is to do preparation for government job.
Fees and Financial Aid
As KMC is fully government funded college so college fee is very less. If we talk about the facilities provided and the fee then we can surely say that this amount is nothing at all. College administration is very conscious about the scholarship and placement of students. College also provides financial assistance on its own basis.
Campus Life
Resonance is the name of the annual fest of KMC which is conducted every year in March month but from the last two year annual fest had not been conducted because of COVID. KMC library is huge for students of KMC. Availability of all types of required books is also good. Sitting arrangement, library facilities is good.KMC in the field of extracurricular activity is the best college in DU. Players, the Drama society of KMC has given a lot of actors, directors to the Indian film industry. KMC alumni are in each field and area of the world.
