To get admission in SBM NMIMS you have to register at GMAC for the NMAT exam for which you get three chances and the highest score is taken for the admission process. you can pick any date to take the exam between the months of October and January and the mode of exam is also your own choice, either online proctored or offline.

I chose MBA HR at NMIMS because of the excellent placement record over the last 10 years and the numerous opportunities to gain corporate exposure. There are students in MBA HR with around 25 professors who are highly qualified. The teaching method is mostly project and assignment based that allows students to deep dive into the concepts and analyze them.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 1095000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of MBA HR at NMIMS is 1095000 which keeps on increasing by 100000 every year for upcoming batches. Adding to that is the hostel fee which is around 300000 per year. The quality of hostel rooms is very good and the facilities being provided are exceptional. Various companies come to campus to offer jobs to students in the second of MBA from the fourth trimester.

Campus Life

The campus life is alot of fun with loads of clubs and committees to get into like the placement committee, student council, nepathya, ecolibria, zephyr, verve, xplore, E-cell, etc. The library is state of the art with all the books and journals that you would want. The clubs also organize various fests and annual sports events like euphoria, NM soccer league, etc.

Interview Experience

The admission process consists of the NMAT exam after which you get a call for further processes which include a WAT (written ability test) and a Personal interview by the professors. I prepared for these rounds via youtube videos and tips available online. The interview mainly revolved around the hygiene questions.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. SBM NMIMS Mumbai review by a current student

I have applied for 3 exams namely CAT, XAT and NMAT and the colleges that I had applied for were all of the IIMs, XLRI, and NMIMS Mumbai. I did not choose the second and third generations IIMs as they are relatively new institutions and are still developing. I was not selected for XLRI.
