Admission is done on the basis of jee main score. Two online counselling will be taken by hstes. Students must visit hstes site for information and after the two online counselling, physical counselling is held by University. The last closing rank for cse this year was 1,60,000 (general category).

Computer science has a vast scope and is further expanding day by day. Cse class have 120 seats in which boys to girl ratio is approx 4:1. Faculty is well experienced, many of them have completed PhD in their respective field and some are assistant professors as well. Exams difficulty is not that much, but one must have to be attentive in class or you could miss some important points

Students become eligible for an internship during 3rd year and only those students get internship who is hard working and have a good cgpa maintained. Salary is not much during internship but you get experience which you can show on your resume that will help you during placement.

Highest package is from the printing department and for the cse department the highest package for pervious year was 12 lakh per annum and 3-4 lakh average package.

The fees of the course are 63,000 rs per year. And for sc/st students there are various scholarships which are briefly mentioned on gju site And university banks help you to apply for an education loan if required.

There are not many fests, University main focus is on education and placements so many seminars are held to guide students. The library has a very large collection of books, one can easily issue a book during exam time and there are separate reading halls, during exam time they are open up to 12:00 am. University has many sports and many inter University matches are also organised.

For first year students (boys) hostel no. 4 is provided which have best infrastructure and the mess is better as compared to rest of the hostel. One room has four members. Hostel provide separate gym, reading room, entertainment room. Hostel fees is 9800rs per year. Mess food is not that much good but in hostels what can you expect so overall it is good.
