Remarks

After passing out my Bcom I was looking for various colleges to complete my Mcom. I applied through the cu official website for the Mcom course and a few colleges were being listed there that are govt affiliated. As I scored above 90% in Bcom, therefore, my name appeared in the Cu cut off list and then I had to choose one college from among the few colleges listed on the cu site and I opted for Goenka. Yeah like most other govt college seats are being reserved for scheduled caste and tribe.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In order to achieve my career goal and get managerial jobs, I had opted to do Mcom because they are highly preferred for the same. If we talk about the teachers are here they are very sincere and well qualified and talk nothing apart from studies. They are very knowledgeable and their teaching method is too good. Semester exams are held in January and August which is difficult and u have to study hard to pass.

Placement Experience

4.5

Since the very first year, you are eligible for campus placement because you are graduating already. Recently companies like Tcs and Bank of India visited the college for a campus where the average placement was around 5 lacs with the highest of 14 lacs per annum. Around 25% of students got placement. I want to get a managerial job in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very much affordable at just around Rs 4000 for a 3 years course. It is even much cheaper than my class 12 and Bcom fees. As the seats are being reserved for meritious students with just 200 seat scholarship is given to everyone who applies for it. Recently the college announced the Vivekananda Scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

4

As it is 2021 we are having online classes til date. I had just visited the college once relating to result procedure and the campus is good with sports facilities. Due to corona, no annual fest is being held for the last 2 years. I have heard that the college is having a library but didn't get a chance to visit the library till now. All the information are to be gathered through the college website.
