Remarks
In order to get admission into IMT Ghaziabad for its MBA program in marketing, you have to appear for the CAT exam and score a percentile of more than 92 percentile. (Approx.) After appearing for CAT, students are supposed to fill out the application form of IMT which is found on the college's website. The fee for this form is around Rs.2000 which covers all the MBA programs offered by IMT including the dual country program.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose IMT for MBA in Marketing as it is one place that offers amazing placements and immense opportunities to grow especially in the marketing field. The faculties in IMT are highly educated and teach in new and engaging ways. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40. Exams are taken after every 2.5 to 3 months. If you listen in class, it is easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
More than 30 companies visit the IMT campus for offering both internship opportunities which have a duration of around 2 months and corporate projects which have a duration of 1-3 months. Various companies like Genpact, Bank of America, Zydus Wellness, Deloitte, EY, KPMG visit the campus offering a stipend of around Rs.45000 per month.
Placement Experience
Students start getting placed from the 5th trimester itself. We have various companies like Wipro, Deloitte, EY, Zydus, Emami, loreal etc, visiting the campus. More than 85% of students get placed in IMT. The median CTC is around 18 lakh/annum and the highest package is 27.75 lakh/annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee at IMT, Ghaziabad increases by around Rs.40,000 every year. The cost to study for a 2 year MBA program is around 20 lakh. I got a job in Wipro from the campus offering a stipend of Rs.50000 per month. No financial assistance or scholarship was availed by me.
Campus Life
The annual fest of IMT is hosted in the month of February or March. It is one of the most awaited events hosted which involves a lot of fun activities, tasks, games, music night etc. The classrooms are well equipped with all the necessary equipment. I was a market of marketing club of IMT.
Interview Experience
Some of the topics of GD were "Startups vs MNCs", "India and its competitors", "E-learning pros and cons" etc. We had one interview scheduled for us, where the questions were related to a students prior work experience and some hygiene questions related to life life challenges faced, biggest achievement etc.
