Diploma in pharmacy

Eligibility of course is you must have done your 12th in science stream and have secured 60% in your 12th boards. You can find the application form, fees, dates on their official website. I didn't avail of any reservation benefit as I come under the general category. The admission process is an entrance test followed by a personal interview which is a total formality.

I choose this course to open my own retail pharmacy shop. The faculty-student ratio is comparatively good. The Faculty is well educated either Ph.D. holder or having masters degree, they teach through PPT presentations and textbooks. They just do the briefing. Exams are conducted semester-wise, the exam is easy to pass as teachers give question bank to students through which question paper is prepared.

Very few companies like pulses, apollo pharmacy visited the university, I got two internships through college in Healthkart and Medanta hospital with no stipend. I worked as a volunteer in the covid vaccination drive in Medanta. And in Healthkart, I worked on Collagen and hyaluronic acid gel for the skin rejuvenation project.

From the last 4th sem students become eligible for on-campus placements. Apollo pharmacy, Medanta hospital, plus the company have visited the campus with good offers. The percentage of students getting placed is very low, only 7-8 students in my batch got placed through college. My plan after getting a degree is to open my own retail pharmacy shop.

Fees hike is generally 1000-1200 per semester. And the cost to study is 250000 for two years. Only one Student gets scholarships if he has stood first in class with little Concession. University doesn't provide any financial assistance to students. I didn't get any job through college that was the worst thing about college.

Some events are organized early like sports functions, teachers day, Udyami bazaar. Books and journals are available in the library which you can issue if you want to. The classroom is fully air-conditioned with smart classrooms, rows connecting benches and chairs. Sports and extracurricular activities are organized on the campus like dance competitions, debates, etc. There is no such group run by students as far as I know.
