Likes
- mostly i like about gd goenks is that they have a good infrastructure, their labs are good and their mac labs are fantastic. there is a good student culture many seniour will approach you for guiding u.
- things that i personally like that most of the teachers are very helpfull they will guide u if u are stucking in some where in studies. the syllabus taught to the btech students is decent
- I also like the sports they are providing like cricket, basket ball, volleyball, football, archery , shooting , swiming and many more. most importantly u can go on higher level like district, zonal etc if u want to.
Dislikes
- like few students misbehave in the campus but it happens very rarely because our faculty is strict in that type of situations
- one more thing that i dont like is that gd goenka placements fluctuate a lot. it was having highest 45 lakhs in 2024 and it dropped to 15 lakhs in 2025
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum in terms of revelence and comprehensiveness is pretty decent. it provide all the basic to advance topics that a btech cse student should study for there future like computer languages like c,c++, java maths physics chemistry practicals for physics and chemistry practical lab for languages like c,c++,java
Internships Opportunities
there are many interships opportunities in my college companies like- TCS HP infosis etc if i talk about the projects in 3rd year there is a block which teaches the students how to make resume, projects, sit in interview, and all the other stuff essential for the interships.
Placement Experience
as i discussed already that placements of gd goenka university is pretty decent, yes placements of gd goenka fluctuate a lot. like last time in year 2024 highest placement of this university was around 40 lakhs and average placements were like 8 to 9 lpa but this year it's highest placement decreased to 15 lpa and average placement remains to 8 to 9 lpa internships= gd goenka provides interships to students but not every students get chance to get placements because only good and brilliant students get interships there
Fees and Financial Aid
1. Yearly fees of btech cse (AI-ML) in gd goenka university is 2 lakhs 95 thousand which is not affordable to every one and for 4 years it is around 12 lakhs. note- FOR GENERAL= 12 lakhs fees includes all tution fees, lab fees and compulsory charges but for registration u have to pay 1500 rupess and for admission fees they will charge 25 thousand extra, and then there is security fees which is 25 thousand that will be refunded at the time of 4 year FOR OTHER CATEGORY LIKE SC AND ST- There is some discount in the fees 2. ON THE BASIS OF MERIT=there is 30% fee releaf if you score 90+ percentile in jee and if you score more than 90+ percent in cbse/icse board. AND if a child score more than 95 % marks in any examination he/she can get upto 50% fee concession like one of friend kabir scored 92 percentile in jee and he get 40 % fee concession for the college 3=Harynana domicile candidates and those who scores well in the ge goenka national enterence and scholarship test can get good scholarships. gd goenka is a decent college where u get a good social culture because students from abroad also visit here to study
Campus Life
As i am a first year student the overall experience in gd goenka university is pretty good as well as some time decent at a time. if i focus on the social aspects- then i would say that the experience was great. students around me have a good knowlege of things related to my cource. senior are very nice and very approachable. i have asked many things from them as i was talkling about the placement and interships, i get to know all this from my seniors only. club involvement is not that great because i have taken part in a esports club but till now there is no tournaments happened in that club which i in my openion is not great at last infrastructure provided is excellent i get excellent labs best practiacal labs best sports equipements to play and good and cleaned classrooms
Admission
i have searched many colleges in greater nodia like amity, kcc institute, ITS engeineering college but they all where vey crouded that is the reason why i prefered gd goenka above all and also most of the college in greater nodia were having very low placement rate so that is the reason why i perfered gd goenka
Faculty
1=> course structure : semester system- all programs are divided in four semesters. an academic year consists of two main semesters(odd and even) and a summer term for backlogs. 2=>Credit-based system: each subject is assigned a specific number of creadits based on its (lecture-tutorial-practical) example= 3 credits for lecture,1 for tutorial 1 for practical in a week 3=>curriculum components core cources elective cources practical and lab work projects and interships Exam system 1. mid- semester exam 2. end term exam this is for 1 semester and reapets for every semester gades 10 - A++ 09 - A 08- B+ 07-B 06-c+ 05-c 00-F the minimum CGPA of 5.0 is generally required to be awarded a degree
Night Life
nife life is also great as because it has a campus of 30 to 40 acare gd goenka has it own gym, and believe me it is top notch food at the mess i good, quality is pretty decent some times food get bit oily but most of the time it is great i dont live in hostal so i dont know about that

the college was full of croud. there were around 70 80 students in one class

when i entered the college i didnt feel the environmnent great, students where abusing in front of my parents no shame, students were smoking, a stall was outside the college and the college was to croudy there were around 70 80 students in one class also
