Remarks

You have to secure a good rank in JEE mains, I got 98.6 percentile. The complete details you will get from JOSSA and it will occur all at once the counselling starts. There are reservations for state quota and for sc/st ews and obc. Since our admission process was online it was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was lucky to get this cse as I was interested in this from the very beginning. As we had an online class we had 160 students in each section. Faculties are strict and are rigid to the deadlines. If you listen to the classes regularly, you will easily get 8 cgpa, or more.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After 4th sem Companies will start to come in regular basis to college. It will take OT and an interview to select a student. The stipend is also very good for some companies. The highest is 1 lakh per month and avg is 40,000. The work will be in summer i.e. after 5th sem.

Placement Experience

Similar to other NITs our campus also brings a good number of companies for internships and placements. Both for circuital and non-circuital branches, some IT companies are open and various IT companies are open only for cse or circuital branches. The average package is also decent i.e. around 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is easy to get an education loan from the SBI branch inside the campus. There are various Scholarships like Reliance and various which are income certificate based. We get max placements and CSE avg placement is abt 12 LPA. You have to maintain 7.5+ cgpa to be eligible for companies. I recommend 8 to 8.5 cgpa.

Campus Life

I have not been to the campus yet but have heard so much from the seniors. Joining clubs is one of the best ways to learn and interact with seniors, it will also build your leadership and teamwork qualities. There are 2 fests conducted that is Innovision(Techincal) and NU(cultural fest) every year.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 girls hostel: KMS hall and CVR hall The food is good, I will say it is better than most northern IITs, as I have heard from my friends there. The rooms are shared up to 2nd or 3rd year but in your final year, you will get a single room. Washing machines are also available.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
