The eligibility of the course is such that one needs to have an undergraduate degree like B.Com, BA with a percentage of at least 60. The application is given every year in April on the website of the official website of Goenka College. The admission process was very clean I had one personal interview. It offers the best placements opportunity for students. It offers the best teaching faculty who has a great experience. I want that more now on students have to give entrance tests to get into this college because it was creating more competition among us.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are generally taken twice a year on a semester basis which is generally easy if you have studied well during the period. The teaching faulty is very experienced and had a vast knowledge in the subjects offered in the course. They are very strict if you don't study well but are also friendly of you study well and maintain discipline. The faculty student ratio is 10:1. This couse is very much in demand due to its vast knowledge gaining and more job opportunities in commerce sectors
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is not very high . It takes 195000 for the period of 3 years . The quality of teaching that we get is worth spending some money to get good knowledge. It also provides scholarship opportunities to financially backwards classes and students who don't have parents. Toppers also get scholarships. The campus stipend is 2 lakhs which is last year's stipend.
Campus Life
The college is great and you can get it only if you gave a good percentage. Besides that, there are lots of extracurricular activities that take place during the year with good teaching. Like UMANG, Christmas carnival, Fiesta takes place once a year regularly. It is a high profile fest joined by many colleges around Kolkata. Dance club, Writing Club, Poetry, Vocabulary club, Reciting Club takes places
