Nilima's Review On Ramanand Arya D.A.V. College, Mumbai

I did not attended any entrance exam since for my course i.e B.Com Banking & Insurance entrance exam is not there.

It was three years course in which we learned various subjects related to Management, Human Resource, Accounts, Banking Operations. there were vivas, presentations as a part of course curriculum.

My college internship experience is not that good, because we were not offered any internship programs in that particular year.

The placements & job opportunities are fair, when we passed out only one bank visited for campus hiring. out of that hiring they selected 15 students into sales & Marketing.

There were many cultural events use to took place like folk dance, drama, sports activity. Umang was the most interesting cultural event that our college has organised so far.

Yes, it was bit expensive for me, since i belong to middle class family. But we used to manage it for three years. Since my course was professional course, i think because of this reason fee was on higher side.

I am not aware about good scholarship / loan facility offered by our college. Not sure about this facility at our college, we never heard as well about this.

The most exciting part of our college was library since my hobby is reading i had availed max benefit of it. Campus was not that good. we had a quite big play ground next to college. Also there used to b a several competitions.

We never experienced seniority because our batch was the first batch of Banking & Insurance of that year. Yes alumni network was good as we have heard through our networks.

Exam structure was like written test & Viva, projects presentation. All together marks were 100. Out of which written test was of 60 marks for two hours.

College faculty was really supportive and yes they were expertise in their subjects. we never attended different classes wen studied Banking & Insurance.
