Remarks
The cut off is nearly 90 percent to get admission in this college, but you can get admission if you are nearly 80 percent, provided you have to be patient, you can simply go to the college website and fill the application form when the application is going on, you will be provided with a login ID and password, simply use that to check your application status, once your name is in the admission list, you will be given a link to make the payment or simply visit the college and submit the chalan in the bank. Admission process is quite simple. Reservation as same as any other college
Course Curriculum Overview
This course has a wide range of scope obviously, and if you are a commerce student, this is the best-suited course for you, and a college like prafulla Chandra will be best for you. The faculty is good, the teachers are good, rather than creating pressure on students, they focus to clear concepts to the students, and help you when needed. They are highly experienced and professional with their teaching practices. I highly recommend this college honestly if you are willing to have your graduation under the guidance of a good faculty. Exams are timely and in accordance with the CU (Calcutta University), a pre-test is taken which is quite easy to pass, and the exams are also good, if you have done your job, you will surely see positive results
Placement Experience
After completing your course, you will get placements, a company like TCS and reliance provides opportunities here , BPO, marketing jobs are available, the salary is noy very high, but after just clearing the graduation, if you get a chance is big companies like TCS, you will learn many things The highest remuneration provided is around 3 lakh pa The lowest is probably 2 lakh pa. Almost 60-70 percent get placements, but depending on how much practical knowledge he/she has , may vary every year, but if have good skills, and we're serious in your course of study you will get good package.. I didn't applied for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
As per the new structure, I.e new syllabus you will have 6 semesters, with 2 semesters in one year, the fees for one year is 5370 approx (May get some covid relief), the fees include library fees and all other miscellaneous fees, Scholarship provided by the state government and loan facility provided by the state government everything available here, you can apply for different aids from this college, just enquire in the office, and they will let you know about the process to avail the benefits, meanwhile, various seminars are held to evaluate how to avail those educational loans and etc. No issue at all
Campus Life
The library is good, you will find your relevant books there, after the admission you have to make a Library card, in order to make the Library card you have to go to the library and enquire there the process is easy and the card will be very handy if you are one of those who don't want to spend a lot of money to buy books. The classroom is quite big, facilities are there, and the campus area and classroom are tidy and neat. Sports quota is available, and you may be given the extra privilege in attendance if you are in the sports quota.
