Remarks

Management is proper but the main problem for us students is attendence. We have to maintain a minimum of 80% attendence.

Entrance Preview

I got into this college through NPAT exam and my merit no. was 853 on the basis of which i got mechanical branch I opted for this college because it provides MBA(TECH) course which is only provided by only three colleges in india.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

MBA(tech) is a five year course. First three years u'll be studying btech subjects and then mba subjects will be included after that. The Mba is basically management in technology.Dont confuse this course with core Mba.1st year Subjects includes -EC (Engineeeing chemistry)EM ( Engineeeing mathematics)EM1 ( Engineering Mechanics)CP ( computer programming)BEE (Basic electrical engineering).

Internships Opportunities

College does offer internship in the 3rd year and has recruitments at the end of 4th year companies like L&T, BOSCH, SIEMEN etc offers job. average salary is around 4-5 lakhs per annum. Alumni network isnt that good.

Placement Experience

4

The average package for B.Tech was 5-6 lacs in 2014-15. Comapnies like accenture, Infosys and many e-commerce websites are here for placements. The placement percent was around 60%. Your internships help you a lot in your final job offer and hence its better to choose your internship carefully.

College Events

4.5

There are majorly two main events that happens every year. One is the technical event known as taqneeq and the other is the cultural event known as satva. These two events are celebrated on a large scale. Apart from this many events are organised by different committes regularly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is a bit expensive. But trust me its worth it.Fee structure goes like this Btech program - 2,70,000Mba(tech) program- 3,30,000.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is not too large as of other universities. But the mumbai exposure compensates it. There are many extracurricular activities organized by different committees. Every field has a committee including cultural, technical, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Mess is not there but there's a canteen which serves amazing food. Variety of food is available and there is also particular food for jains. So food is not an issue. Residential flat's are pretty good but are a bit expensive. 1,70,000 a year.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very good and cooperative they are not dominating as in other colleges they help you in all your queries about the college. Whenever you go to them they always give you useful advices like how to manage time.

Exam Structure

There are two internal assessements exam and an external exam. 30% is taken from the internals and 70% is taken from externals. Passing criteria is that u have to score min of 50% marks to pass overall to avoid any kt's.

Faculty

4

Faculty is pretty good. They follow a particular pattern of teaching. They always help you solving problems and give different techniques to solve a particular problem. But at the end of the day it all depends on u how much u gain from them.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
