The college need to start different extra curricular actuvies which enables the students to develop themselves through this & some more educational programmes has to be launched too.
Entrance Preview
I gave CAT after I completed my graduation from this college & in the same year I appeared in CAT exam & got 87 %tile in it.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was very good as they covered the major area of the commerce with a very diverse subjects & they also make the student capable of getting the practical knowledge properly by regular assignments & presentations which was fun too.
Internships Opportunities
I started my internship in a local college in Chandigarh as a intern in accounts department where I get a stipened of 9,000 per month generally there are no company for the internship purpose it has to be student own efforts to find a one & do it maybe the college help the interested candidates to find a good place.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities was good but the recruiters demands a lot from you with a normal package which actually makes the students less interested for the placement process but still an average student can get a good job in a reputed organisation with the pacakage of around 1.8 lac or so.
College Events
The main events in the college are the annual youth fest, the fest on the eve of Guru Nanak Jayanti and there are some few others events too which are very good and enjoyable.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was very normal which was 12,000 annually in my time which includes the admission charges & the whole year fee excluding some fee like examination fee and some others & fines which are used to be a big things as the amount actually go up to 3,000 inr per student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college itself provide some scholarship for the low financial candidates, for scholars & even their is some fee waiver for those students who are average yet have a genuine reason for getting the waiver.
Campus Life
The campus has a very comfortable & open environment as people are are very friendly here the infrastructure is very good there are so many sports activies which occurs to be on round the clock.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was an average yes the infrastructure is good but the crowd is not so but still students are supportive to you the mess was good as the food they prepared was very tasty but most of the time they prepare the same normal menu & yes the ambience was not so good but overall a good place to be.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very much supportive throughout the time specially at the time of admission, fines & other times when the facilulty couldn't help you much these students actually hepls you a lot.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was good as per the standards of the subjects & university reputation students had to give much efforts to get good score.
Faculty
The faculty of this college was very much cooperative with the students & highly qualified with good experience i used to go in staff room after the lecture was over & mostly teachers agrees to solve my doubts about the topics which was very good part of them and yes they are very friendly and specially some sardar sir they have a good and funny humour which I like very much.
