Remarks

The eligibility of the course is 12 th passed. The admission is on the basis of jee scores and also on the basis of 12th marks. Forms are available on gndec. in To apply for the college there are two processes either direct admission through counseling in college or we can apply through PTU counseling also. For reservation, there are benefits of fees concessions. And also fees wavier for meritorious students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is established around 90's. So it has an established name in Punjab. The faculty are most Ph.D. holders. There are mainly 2 MST's per semester and in end term final exams. The difficulty is average and everyone with some hardwork can pass with good marks.

The internship is also available and students can avail benefits in the sixth or eighth semesters. Also, there are training in some semester. And students can take a specialized course in the last or second last year.

The placement of the college is average. Many reputed companies like Infosys, Samsung, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mahindra, Zeolite, and many other companies visited. The highest package is around 12-14 lakh maybe.

Fees and Financial Aid

For batch 2020-2024. The fees for an even semester (around 44k) are less as compared to an odd semester (around 48k). There are fee waiver schemes for meritorious students with some limited seats. There are also fee waivers for SC/ST categories.

Campus Life

There are a lot of books available in college and every student can claim 4 books per semester. The focus on NCC is very good and those who are passionate about this can take a good advantage and also various other sports grounds available.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam .
