Admission is done in NSUT (West Campus) by JEE MAIN rank. For admission in the B.Tech program candidates has to clear the JEE Main entrance exam. General category students need a good rank in JEE MAIN to get admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested in it . The faculty is good but not very good. One faculty can teach you two subjects also. Some teachers are very good. Although teachers are highly qualified. There can be a maximum of 60 students in all branches. The first sessional exam is taken which is of 30 marks, then internal practical (40 marks), then external (60 marks), then End term exam has been taken and its difficulty level is normal to more. You have to cover all units to score good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year. The college placement cell has taken the resume of students and told the students that their resume has been sent to companies and those who are eligible for the internship will get mail from the company.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc come to college. Some students get a package of 13-14 Lakhs and most get a package of 3-4 Lakhs last year. The percentage of students getting placements is normal but it is increasing in the last 2 years due to it getting merged from NSUT. The package depends on the student's performance how many skills he knows.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for the first year is now 1,90,000. Various types of scholarship, financial assistance is provided like Merit cum means scholarship or Merit only scholarship. Financial assistance is also provided by the college by giving tuition fees to the students.
Campus Life
The annual fest named 'Moksha' is being organized in the month of March. Tech fest such as 'Innovision' is organized. Classrooms are non AC. All kinds of course-related books and other books also are available in the library along with magazines, newspapers, etc. A library card is been given to issue books. Sports such as Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi, athletics, etc have been played in college. An annual sports day is organized by University in which students from both NSUT West and East Campus participate.
